Soy beans grow on an upright stem and produce "fuzzy" pods when they start to ripen. I wanted to try a few soybeans too, but couldn't find a small quantity. My grain sorghum came up right at 10 days, which I thought pretty good since we haven't had much rain and my ground is light. Seems like there'd be a good business for grain elevators to sell bulk for food plots. Maybe we just need to ask. Mixing our own is a lot cheaper and better than buying pre-mixed. We can use nmore expensive stuff and not so much junk just to fill the bag.
