i'm not gonna even say what i'm thinking right now.

my brother informed me it appears the fenders off our super c farmall have been stolen. this could have happened between fall 2007 and now. the tractor is broke in half, has been awhile, just more important things to do or spend the money on. while it is parked outside, you cannot see this tractor from the road, or if you casually pull into the drive way. you pretty much have to either know it's there or SNOOP. Now whatever the reasoning behind taking them, it does not matter, as it is not yours. Frankly i can send the whole works right to the scrap pile if i so desire, even if it is mint; or i can ask 5000$ for it as it is now, or 1000$ for any part off of it; etc. The truth of the matter is you've helped make me into more of a crabby old man before i've even reached the age of 30. Now i will spread your negativity to everyone i meet, no more friendly help, no more bragging about what i've got, I might not ever participate in the tractor community again. You've also crushed my hopes of one day restoring grandpa's tractor with as many original parts as possible.

I need to see what else may have been tampered with now, since my brother doesn't know the machine like i do. I hope that nothing else is missing.

If anyone in MN happens to hear someone bragging about a recent acquisition of c/super c fenders and it sounds fishy, they might be my family's. Please do your part to set them right. I would like either 500$ or the fenders returned.

crabbier than usual,
karl f

Today's Featured Article - Talk of the Town: The Saga of Grandpa's Tractor - by The following saga is from the Tractor Talk Discussion Forum. Someone. The saga starts with the following message: Hey guys I have a decision to make. I know what you all will probably suggest and it will probably agree with me way down inside, but here it is. I have a picture blown up and framed in my "tractor room" of a Farmall M. It was my Grandpa's tractor, of which whom I never got to meet. He froze to death getting this tractor out of the barn to pull a truck out of the ditch before I was born. Anyway my dad and aunt had to sell it at the auction, ... [Read Article]
