Auction today near us. Fellow had been a mechanic and an antique collector, had 8 haywagons with bits and tool and literally a couple of hundred Cockshutt and Oliver manuals and parts books. About 8 international trail ploughs, 3 + 4 furrow, most incomplete $150-$200. A kvernelands single furrow breaking plough - $575. A VERY incomplete hay loader $50. Cockshutt 80 standard non-runner, nearly complete, motor tight - $800. Oliver OC-3 with itty bitty front blade - $2100. One total rarity for this area was a Ransomes walking match plough for high cut ploughing. Scrap hounds were going crazy. Apparently another ship in Hamilton harbour loading scrap for China.
