The schools, as usual, are not concerned with the economical impact for parents, all they know is the busses only run 4 days a week and if their weekly fuel bill is $2000.00, it will drop to $1600.00 per week, so it would save the school district $400.00 per week, most schools have four nine week period, so that would save the school district $14,400 in fuel alone. Parents are not too keen on it for a lot of reasons, but most did not complain about additional child care cost, they were afraid of the educational problems it would create. Jim
