is this the same engine used in the old 1984 chevy chevette diesel? if so the preformance was very poor, but had great fuel mileage. just don't try to pass anyone, including a bicyclist unless you have a very long open road and are going downhill at a 20% grade and the wind is behind you blowing at 30 mph. then and only then ya might pass them. but i did get up to 51 mpg on open road at 55 mph.
