Do you have the owners manual for the mower ? I just checked my manual & the only thing I can see that may cause your timing problem as you called it, is the belt tension (page 10), or excessive drag on the cutter bar maybe . Actually the manual doesn't even mention the word timing but elaborates on the belt adjustment . If you don't have the manual , send me your email address & I'll try helping you somehow .
