As I recently stated on another thread, I recently bought what was listed as an owner's manual for an '89 Chevy pickup. The photo was fuzzy and you couldn't read the printing on the front. But--what do you anticipate for an owner's manual? What I received was a 10 page maintenance schedule. I had paid with Paypal within 15 minutes of the auction ending.
I left the seller negative feedback for mis-representing the item. Up to that point, I had 100% positive feedback as a buyer. This dork ripped me with negative feedback, said I was a bad e-bayer, warned everyone not do deal with me, etc, etc.
All I can say is if you're squeaky clean as a seller, you have nothing to worry about. Anyone who is upset about it must be someone who is planning on NOT being squeaky clean.
