I bought a Rhino rather than JD and am very disappointed. The Rhino blades are either so soft or poorly mounted that they come up and hit the the housing and put a continuous dent in the housing all the way around. We replaced the blades once but the issues continues.
When we were looking at the Rhino's I had seen this on another Rhino but discounted it as over abuse, not so.
I would suggest the Semi-mount or a machine that has a very flexible third link. I have seen a lot of rotary mowers where the 3pt frame work is all bent up or busted because the 3rd link was too rigid. Think about when your tractors rear tires go into a hole or your backing up and the mower is trying to rise up a grade, it puts remendous stress on the three point connection.
