I was futunate enough to find Dads 55, or what was left of it, in a salvage yard near here. I dont remember the car itself, but I do have some pics somewhere around here of when I was 2 or 3, and its in the background. Dad had bought it a coupel of days after he got hom from Nam in 68. That was what he and Mom drove for little while until I came along. Dad bought Mom a new 69 Fairlane, I think it was, and hot rodded the 55 up. I wish I could find the pics of it. He was holding me while sitting on the trunck lid. That had to be the summer or late fall of 69. He let me uncle borrow it to go to town for something, rolled it about 9 times.
