Gary: How long since you've used those pitching forks for unloading loose hay. We had always used the U shape two fork, about 1950 dad bought the one on left with 4 forks and chains. One could spread those a long way on the top of a load. My grand dad was convinced dad was going to pull the barn roof down. It made short work of a 16" wagon rack full of hay, about 4 lifts on a load that squeezed through a 12'w by 14'h door. I know it weeded out the Farmall Cub and single horse on the pitching rope or cable. We only had rope in one barn, it got weeded out with Cub and horse.
