That would be a great mowing tractor. I had a 185 that I should have kept. I bought a Dixie chopper and cut my mowing time in half, but the blowout from the deck on the Dixie drives me nuts. The 185, which is a little smaller than yours, allows you to sit up above the blowing grass.
I think it looks fine without the canopy.
As for my mowing issue, I resolved the problem by "letting" my wife mow. That reminds me, I need to let her know that the grass is getting too tall and she might want to mow.
