Dan Rion was one of the "old fashioned" tractor ethusiests. He was responsible for creating the antique tractor meet that's held every year at Hanford Mills Musuem (water and steam powered saw and grist mill) in East Meredith, NY.
Real nice guy who had a tremendous amount of skill and knowledge - as well as many tractors.
He died in his sleep a few days ago - and was laid out yesterday wearing a John Deere T-shirt and a wrench in one hand. 69 years old.
Yeah, I realize this forum covers a lot of territory and most never met nor heard of him. But - for those that did - you won't see him again.
