Next weekend it will be the Canada Geese leading their newly hatched broods back and forth across the roads on the long weekend. Makes for traffic jams, screaming tires & brakes. Vehicles run off into ditches or into each other to dodge birds. We have small but new double dents in the hood of the van from where two flew geese up in front of us from the shoulder of the road. Cops and highway personal will spend about the next two weeks responding to calls to assist geese across the highway. Bunnies are cute little beggers,want some? The kid's buck and doe got loose and were later seen relaxing, smiling and smoking a cigarette.
