Your push button should run down to a Solenoid somewhere close to starter. First check to see that fire is going to the solenoid when button is pushed in to start. If so then make sure your battrie is up enough to turn motor over. Sometimes that click happens cause the battery is to low to turn over starter. So jump it and see first if it turns over starter! If it won't turn over motor. Then turn key on and take something metal and jump from one side of the solenoid to the other post on big post on it that runs down to the starter! IF it turns over doing that .. then the solenoid is bad and replace it. If that did not turn it over. You may have to replace the starter cause it has a bad place in it.
