I overloaded my trailer last week for a fairly long haul.
I have 14 ply tires on, but when I got home, two of them had bulges "under the skin" on the side. One was as big as a baseball.
I popped them with a knife to keep them from separating any further and the tires have stayed up since then.
Have the cords separated to cause that? Are the tires totally ruined? Or if I put a little slime in them and just kept them aired up would they still be "safe"???
