The 1968 was a miscalculation on the middle finger. It is a 1969 console. I have a #10 side mount sickle bar mower that i want to mount to it and not have to remove it all the time. It is around 600lbs. and i aint no spring chicken no more. I don't like to have all that weight just hanging on the side of the tractor when not in use so i want to be able to drop it. If i disconnect the hoses to run something else i can't adjust it if it slowly drops or is in the way with a tree limb or something else with the bush hog on the back. Have a lot of creek's and banks to keep trimmed so i am always changing from on to the other. I don't have the 3020 yet. I am looking at a nice one and it only has the one remote and that is the only thing stopping me from getting it. Its hard to find a nice tractor with console on it for less than both your arms. I guess i better let you know i have a hydraulic top link to the brush hog and that is why i need the extra remote. Since i used the hydraulic top link i will never go with out one again. (Is it even possible to disconnect the hoses from the hydraulics on the 3020 with an implement in the up possition?) I know on my old 2010 you couldn't even unhook unless the load was of the tractor.
