Corn is real sensitive to early weeds & shading.
You can either:
Spray glysophate early, and again later before canopy. 2 aplications.
Or, you can put down a preemerge to keep the early weeds in check, and spray later with glysophate to get all the late weeds.
Depends if you have a lot of acres, lot of rain, timing of getting that first spray on in a timely fashion, and if you use rr soybeans, you don't want to use only glysophate every year or resistance builds up.
