I see your luck is better than mine glad it was the starter you could have upgraded to the gear reduction unit that is lighter and ALOT smaller then the original I guess the hardest starter I had to put on was on a 84 Mercury Capri had to lift the engine a little because it had custom exhaust which I found out made it impossible to take the starter straight back or down had to take it out the front. A friend of mine told me it was still hard on the original exhaust. It was a 5.0 like the Mustangs
