Yes, there is a lever, lower left side of trans ???? on there somewhere, to disengage, best let others comment on towing one of these, think it's safe once you move that lever, it'll just skid until you do that. I remember this from the last time I ran our S-0-S, it quit, dads friend changed the fluid, but put the wrong type back in, long story there, but it stopped in the wrong darned place at one of our shows and I could not figure out how to move it, till I found that lever, was like a boat anchor.
