Yes, I know that this subject has been well hammered out in the past. I have tried the system on some old tools and a few other things on a small scale and was very happy with the results. I have used my battery charger, and the 12v DC on my little camping generator in the past but have been limited to low amps. Has anyone tried using a car alternator for output? Thinking about trying an alternator driven by an electric motor as it should be able to push out considerably more amps than a charge? Any thoughts out there from the gurus? Cheers, Rex
