OK, I have kept this beast going pretty long, has more than 280k on the clock. Went to start it this evening and no go. Wife tells me that it has been "hesitating" a little when she turns the key first thing in the morning. I had time to try and jump it this evening, but even with a jump it just clicked and hummed a little, then it was dark and I gave up. Had the starter rebuilt a couple of years ago as well as a new alternator within the last few years.
What order should I start looking at things to trouble shoot this?
