MrG - Your dad sounds exactly like my father in law (age 77). Knows every farm (and farmer) in the area, who owned the farm before (often several generations back) the tractors and machinery they owned thru the years - going all the way back to his childhood in the 30's. Fascinating riding around with him and learning local ag history...
