This pallet of corn will plant 80 acres. It cost $6241.32 and it was paid for last september in order to get that good of a price. The worst thing is that is not the most expensive corn I will plant this spring. Last fall NH3 was $450 a ton and currently it over $750 a ton. If you think food is high priced because of ethanol I disagree. Corn is high because of world wide demand and it has caused inflation in all of our iputs and only the middle men profit. Conusmers and producers both loose. bill
