Strictly talking from my A**. I would say the first 1500 seats sold would pay for tires/fuel. Then again some tracks have over 100k seats. Now throw in the T-shirt, Hat, Jacket etc...sales ( Guy next door had it all down to his boxers with his guys color and number,then what the sponsors pick-up its HUGE Money.As soon as a ball hits the ground in baseball, out comes a new ball. Family of 4 to see a Red Sox game close to $350.00, they sell out, just like NASCAR events do.
