Was leading a few horses in from the pasture last year and one sent me for a topple and stomped on me. . . took an x-ray (run my own vet office) and saw for sure two broken/cracked ribs. More or less took it easy for a few days. . . was out turning wrenches again before I knew it. It was tough to sleep for a few nights though. . . could only way a certain way and had to move really slowly when getting up. Tried not to laugh, breath deep, etc, etc. They say it bad to wrap yourself up not cause you need to expand your lungs to prevent clots/collapse. . . I tried taking a deep breath every now and then to expand the old chest. Never did go to the doctor cause all he was gonna do was give me the pain pills and tell me to suck it up. Dave
