I very strongly suspect that the talking heads on TV know very little, they are just readers, not thinkers. And one day it's speculation, the next, demand. I do think the weak dollar has a big effect on oil prices. If you look at the euro zone, one reason they tax the heck outta fuel is that they think it's nuts to export all your wealth buying something to burn.
