My '48 8N (with the earlier steering, the same as the 9N) is a ground breaking machine. Since I got 'Henry' in 1977 the steering tendency mentioned by Gerald (above) has been evident but not so much as to degrade from the performance. After a while one remembers not to hold on too tight while harrowing diagonally across a plowed field. The many pluses of the Ford N-Series tractors outweigh the minuses every time. My $.02 worth.
