Lift on Long 460

With 3 pt. lift lever all the way up and the tractor idleing the lift, with a load on it, will jerk and recover and repeat every say 30 seconds. When the rpms are increased it doesn't do it then, or when I lower the lift lever sightly. Any suggestions for correction?
