Cast can be tough, espescially where ours is broke. However now I think it's cast Steel, whcih should allow me to use my favorite steel welding rods without any ill effects. I'll have to see if I can find a way to put some reinforcement on it too, but I'm not sure if I can or not.
In the mean time, Dad rented a compact and is falling in love with it. He's thinking about trading in the 165 on it considering all that's wrong with it.....
