Um what kind of tractor are you gonna haul?but really I cut my teeth on a 1971 mack with a 237 and 5-speed.No air, poor ride, poor heat(in winter).would only go 57mph down hill with both windows up and two feet on the pedal was not a speed demon.Check the radiator real close not hard on trucks to get up around a $1000 fast. Also i would switch rims 10:00-20s tires are getting few and far between.Good thing is the mack is alot like the 70 to 80 dodge pickups most doors and cab parts interchange.Another bonus of the mack over any one ton is you get to see more "leg"in a semi hee hee.If you buy it I would go to a junk yard and buy the air ride parts for the cab off a junk truck.I would buy it if it was me but I like old trucks and I dont like the price of new pickups(35000).But i hope you are gonna run farm plates on her otherwise I think the tractor plates are a little steep.
