Even on into the 90s' some small tractors didn't have Live PTOs' The 96 model the 1710,1720 didn't and the 1715 did the 1710, 1720 Live PTO could be installed by dealer. I have a 1715 and the dealers all tell me that it doesn't have live PTO . But all 1715s' came with live PTO .
