I fthis is a delco 10si, then #2 spade needs 12v .. and can be looped tot he charge lug.. #1 needs switched 12v.. preferably with a idiot lamp or diode in line with it to protect the alternator from damage in case the chargge line comes off ( and for ignition isolation on gasser machines ).. install diode with stripe (cathode) to alternator.. 3a/200piv is good.. 1a/50piv will be good enough.. 1N5408 diodes is fione..radio shack part number 276-1661 will work.
