I had an uncle who built a couple of them out of Model A Fords. They sat around a lot. For "real" farming his used his Case tractor mostly. But, sure it can be done. Popular Mechanics used to have articles on doing that sort of thing now and again. If you like building things and have the time and place to do it, have at it. Like some others said, a "real" tractor would probably be more practical once it was running. And then there's the resale issue. A real one might be worth more should you decide to get rid of it or trade for something else.
