Find you and officer you know. Ask him to run the name and date of birth if you got it. Just explain what is going on. But beware! If that subject is wanted for something bad right now. The officer must know where he can be located right away for an arrest are he has to answer to someone above him about the check.
Remember this. Just cause in the past maybe someone got themselves in trouble and did a small time in county or state jail years back. Does not make them a bad person today. Many do change in life for the good!
