Friend of mine got his foot in one about 10 years ago. Has had prosthetic from knee down now for about 10 years. He is much younger than your dad but he has done extremely well since the accident. If you saw him walking anywhere you would have no clue that he had this condition. He is a very reliable worker and always gets his job done every day. Outworks people twice his age two to one and never breaks a sweat doing it. If your dad is a tough guy he will do very well. This guy doesn't even walk with a limp. I don't think he runs anymore but he wasn't planning on joining a football team anyway!
