Just got back. It looks to be in good condition to me but I dont know squat about A's. Tin was pretty good with the hole cut out for the muffler. Paint faded and a little rust. It started right up and sounded like any other 2 cyl Ive heard at shows. No obvious fluid leaks. I did not drive it but everything appeared to work except the headlights. Rear pto made a little noise, guy said it was cold oil. ?? It was in the 30s here in Wisconsin. Tires have good tread but weather checked, not real bad. The rear rims were stamped steel and not original, supposed to be from another A but color is wrong. Repainted? He does have the original cast hubs, not sure on the rims. New radiator, battery and starter. He wants $1800 for it.
What do you guys think?? He seemed pretty set on his price.
How much for a paint job? Nothing fancy, but not a rattle can or brush job.
