That's too bad. I hope he makes it. I always believed you can have pets or use rat poison not both. If the mouse eats it he dies.The pet will eat the dead mouse and poison himself. Same thing with antifreeze. Vet said one lick will kill them. I use mousetraps. The dogs nose is too big to fit in it. Also you can dispose of the mouse. He doesn't go off elsewhwere and die. I'd throw out that poison and buy mousetraps.
