Back when these tractors were the farm workhorses, they were commonly overhauled every few years. Every second or third overhaul you needed a new block. The .045 overbore means the block wasn't worn that bad.
The 1947 models were the first with a fully shielded flywheel, the new-style steel frame, and square rear axle. Power steering was not a factory option, and the Power-Trol Hydraulics and the PTO were transmission-driven (not live nor independent). Roll-O-MAtic was a neat option to have.
