before you get into the power steering i believe you should ccheck the front axle- jack up the front of it and try to turn the wheels by pushing or pulling on one of the tires if it binds then you need to take the tie rods loose and see which wheel binds, if it is nnot there turn the steering wheel w/o the motor running if it still binds you will need to take the steering wheel off and remove hte steering motor and have john deere repair it
