Some idiot reporter for the Kansas City star did an article a couple of years ago about global warming. I e mailed him and reminded him of the fact that there used to be glaciers 30' thick right where we now live and that they melted. And there were no people around!! I told him those cave men must have had some tremendous fires going in their caves to melt those glaciers.
Believe it or not he wrote back and told me that I had a good point and he had never thought of that before.
You just have to educate them one at a time. Problem is the nuts are reproducing faster than we can educate them.
