I feel for you friend. I have 17 calves outside with their mama's, 5 cows in the old dairy barn that are gonna drop a calf at any time, and 20 more cows outside yet to come, with sow drifts 4-5ft deep and the wind is still blowing 25+mph. The ones outside can get into a calf shelter, and knock on wood they have all been inside every time I have checked since 5 p.m. last night. I check them every 2 hours around the clock in weather like this. Hard on the body, but it's gotta be done. Talking close to 70 degrees mid next week, it'll be sloppy, but I'll take it. Got the old Michigan 4x4 loader plugged in now, and will start moving the "global warming" after lunch so the cows can get to water. Cheers!
