I think it was an old Oliver 60 with a right hand foot clutch and the first version of power steering on it. There was a cable that run to each brake that was wound around the steering shaft. As you turned, if it was turned to the right, it would pull the right brake on. If you turned left, it would work just the opposite and pull the left brake on releasing the right side. Getting on to the right hand foot clutch was a real bear after driving everything else with a left hand foot clutch...
