Here in central IL we are just now entering the prime corn planting window and nothing is going to happen for awhile. It has been wet all spring. Over the weekend there was some limited amount of work done. I saw guys putting on NH3 and I have heard of oats being sowed. I have not seen anyone doing tillage or trying to plant. The conditions were marginal but improving untill it rained about an inch tuesday. It is raining now and they are calling for heavy rain all day today. The forecast is a chance of rain fri, sat, and sunday with cold temps. Even if it was dry the soil temp was only 42 monday when I checked and I'm sure it will drop. I would like to have started planting corn first of next week but that will not happen now and I wont even guess when I might get the chance. At least in my part of the world, corn planting will be delayed. bill
