I have been a fan of synthetic since it came out. Mostly I use syntec 20=50 and in winter 10-40. All my vehicles have at least 125000 and my truck has 165000 with nary a problem with the engines. Now transmissions, that another story. Four in the Ford truck and two in the Jeep. I now use Synthetic trans fluid . Hope that helps. They trans rebuilder says it will definity help/. The 2004 Cheve Suburban came with auto trans fluid. Henry
