Any brand that meets the SAE weight spec for the engine and also meets the API classification for the oil, also specified by the engine manufacturer. The API classifications are backward compatible so using the latest value is fine. For example on an automobile if it called out a 10W30 with an API classification of SE and the latest classification is SL, that good.
