It is getting oil or water on it that makes it stick one way to clean it is to rev the engine up put it in the highest gear and then hold the brakes real good and slip the clutch be careful not to burn it by over doing it. MY old case SI was alway doing this and I did that to it a couple of times and it came out OK. Most tractors have some sort of lock down on the clutch pedal for this problem. That was one reason reason for the lock over hand clutch you can leave it out for years without any lose of spring tension. Walt
