I'm cynical from being on the other side of the desk. People basically have no consious when dealing with salesmen. One example is, one morning when I was selling cars for GM, a local lady I knew came in and wanted to demo drive a particular car. She was gone for a couple of hours, came back, and said she'd decided against it. That afternoon I saw her driving another car with In Transits on it.
All she'd done was use our car and burn our gas to have wheels to go to another town 20 miles away to buy a car.
