Without a doubt we have the best political system in the world. But it doesn't matter how good the system is if the people running it abuse it. Its like guns. The gun itself is neither good or bad. It depends on the person using it. In my personal opinion, it seems that our politicians have forgotten of the people, by the people, for the people. And yes, some good guys go to Washington to try and make a difference and get squashed. Its not the system that needs to be revamped, but the attitude of the people running it.
