I use and have installed the Techonsha 9035 Voyager XP, it's the equivalent to the old 2035 ( with the big heat sink in the back). The 9035 is an easy to use controller that has the power to activate 6 or 8 brakes (3 or 4 axles). I recomend spending the extra $20 and using this model over the less powered one, regardless of how small your trailer is. The mistake people make is using wire that's too small. I use 12gage, and 10 gage, depending on the trailer. You'll need a circuit breaker installed on the power wire from the battery. Also, on the truck/trailer plug (6 or 7 pole) dedicate a ground wire for the lighting ground and a separate one for the brake ground.
