The gravel truckers association up here went on strike and industry was at a stand still! Don't under estimate the importance of trucking. It's not cheap to run a truck. The truckers got what they wanted and there were some very bad events during the strike, including sabotoging trucks of non members and even a shooting I think. A line up of about 15 gravel trucks drove down a freeway at a very slow speed to make a point. If enough truckers got together and protested. it can make a huge difference. Dave
